A Case Report of Cholesterol Pneumonitis

Abstract
|
|
|
This report to be made is concerned with a case of cholesterol pneumonitis which was confirmed in a surgical specimen consisted of the left lower lobe of the lung operatively resected under the clinical diagnosis of pulmonary abscess from a 49 year-old korean fishman.
The specimen was sdudied pathologically and histochemically and was confirmed to be cholesterol pneumonitis. This would be the first of such case found in Korea.
